Clinical Trails User Account Request
Clinical Trials Registration
Registration of Research with ClinicalTrials.gov
The International Committee of Medical Journal Editors (ICJME) has established a requirement that all clinical trials be entered in a public registry before the onset of participant enrollment, as a condition of consideration of publication. To address this requirement, the OSU-Stillwater campus has established an account with the ClinicalTrials.gov Protocol Registration System to allow registration of clinical trial type research being conducted by OSU–Stillwater researchers. (The OSU-Center for Health Sciences has a separate account established for clinical trials conducted by their researchers).
The OSU Stillwater ClinicalTrials.gov account will be administered by the Institutional Review Board administrative staff. Dawnett Watkins will be the Protocol Registration System (PRS) Administrator.
Researchers wishing to register their research will need to contact the IRB office to obtain a user account that will allow creation of a protocol record. The account will be established by the PRS Administrator and login information and password sent directly to the researcher by ClinicalTrials.gov. The researcher is then responsible for creating the protocol record. The PRS administrator is responsible for approval and release of the protocol records for publication on the ClinicalTrials.gov web site. The record should be available on the site within 2-5 business days of release by the administrator.
The researcher is also responsible for any future modifications of the protocol record to insure that the information given is current.
